FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q : How long will the carpet take to dry ?
A : A synthetic carpet can dry in 2-3 hours. Wool and wool-mix
carpets can take 6-8 hours, depending on air flow.
Q : Can you walk on the carpet once they have been cleaned ?
A : It is advisable to keep the amount of walking to a minimum or
to stay off until the carpet is completely dry, as this can affect the pile and texture.
Q : Does the room have to be empty of all furniture ?
A : If most ornaments are removed and small furniture, this will
make the cleaning more thorough. If you are unable to move large
pieces of furniture by yourself, I will be happy to help at no
extra charge.
Q : What is your availability ?
A : This depends how busy I am, but if it is an urgent job, I
will do my very best to get to you as soon as possible.
Q : I have wool carpets. Do you clean these in the same way ?
A : Yes, I clean them in the same way, except that the chemical
cleaners that I use are Wool Safe Approved. This stops colour
change and will leave the carpets supple and will not strip the wool
of it's natural goodness.
Q : Are you a trained and qualified carpet cleaner ?
A : I trained and qualified with Prochem Europe in Chessington,
Surrey. Their course took me through the differing methods of
carpet cleaning, different types of carpets, the best way they
should be cleaned and how to use the chemicals to get the
very best result for your carpets.
